They show re-runs on cable, but they're out of order so that only compounds the problem. I once tried to explain it season by season. Mid-way through season 2 I had to start getting into the weeds. Each episode focuses on one character and each episode will show you flashbacks of what that character was like before they arrived on the island. All the characters are linked in some way prior to getting on the island, whether they are aware of it or not. (There are two who are siblings and don't know it.) Plus there are some characters who were major players in season one but got killed off and little has been made of them since. Not sure how that started, but I think that show was on as the same time as another I watched religiously, so "Lost" um lost out. And now the task of catching up is so daunting that I haven't bothered at all.
